MultiTools

When MultiTools are mentioned people usually associated them either with intrepid outdoors types, or with the military. When you consider what is actually on a MultiTools however it is quite clear that they have a much greater range of uses than these somewhat extreme examples demonstrate.

As an example of when a multitool would be handy is if you need to change a plug. You can almost certainly guarantee that the screws holding the plug together are different to the screws inside holding the wires in place. Not only that, if the plug is quite old then the exposed wire may have degraded and broken off, which means that you need to strip a new piece of wire. Now without a multitool you would need a couple of screwdrivers, a pair or wire snips, wire strippers and possibly a pair of pliers as well. That is quite a collection of tools to go and track down just to change a plug. Now consider the multitool. All of the tools that you require are there in one easy to use device.

This is just one example of a multitool keeping a simple job simple. Many other tasks around the home fall into the same category and all can be made simpler by having all of the tools that you require in one hand-sized item rather than tucked away in toolboxes, drawers, or left wherever it was last used.

A multi-purpose tool is the ideal addition to any household, office or adventurer’s backpack. The capability to cut, clamp, open, screw, snip and file, just to mention a few of the features that the average tool possesses, is incredible value for space as they are all tucked neatly into something that fits neatly into the palm of your hand. This is why multitools are a must.
